Who we are
This store is run by ToyDrop, a small South African online toy shop based in Johannesburg. Our business details, including our physical address and phone number, are listed in the footer of every page and on our Contact page. You can email us at toydropsa@gmail.com.
By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them with our Delivery policy, Returns and refunds policy and Privacy policy, which also apply.
Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. The order confirmation email only tells you we have received it. A contract is formed when we dispatch your order and send you the tracking details.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example if an item has sold out or a price was shown in error. If that happens we will tell you and refund you in full.
You can cancel an order for a full refund any time before it is dispatched.
Prices and payment
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Prices can change at any time, but the price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place your order.
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
Products
Product photos are representative. Colours, patterns and sizes can vary slightly from what you see on screen, and items in mixed or mystery packs vary from pack to pack.
Age and safety. Our toys are intended for children aged 6 and over unless the product page says otherwise. Some toys contain small parts and are a choking hazard for children under 3. Please supervise young children, check toys regularly for damage, and remove any toy that is torn or broken. Squishies and slime-type toys are not food and must not be eaten.
Delivery and returns
We deliver within South Africa only. Delivery times and costs are set out in our Delivery policy.
Our Returns and refunds policy explains how to return an item. You may also cancel a purchase within 7 days of receiving it under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act; our 14-day change-of-mind window already covers this.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. If anything here conflicts with those rights, the law wins.
Our liability
We will always do what the law requires if a product is faulty or unsafe. Beyond that, and only as far as the law allows:
- our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it; and
- we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for delays or damage caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier delays, load-shedding, strikes or severe weather.
This does not limit any liability that cannot legally be limited, including our liability under the Consumer Protection Act for harm caused by unsafe goods.
Reviews and content
If you send us a review, photo or video, you allow us to publish it on our website and social media. We publish reviews as written and do not edit them to change their meaning.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
